Desdmona.com is now accepting submissions for our fourth erotic story contest.
As we did in our last contest, we are forcing a restriction: all entries must somehow work a typewriter in the story. No word processors, no computers, but one of those good old fashioned keyboards that hammers inked letters into a sheet of paper. How you work the typewriter into your story is up to you: be imaginative! Dust off that old piece of machinery in the back of your mom’s closet and write us a story that will roll our platens!
Desdmona’s Typewriter Story Contest is an erotic short story contest, 3500 words or less (note that a flash story will not likely win this contest). There is no entry fee. Stories must be received by August 1, 2004. Prizes will be awarded to the judges’ three favorite stories:
First prize: $200
Second prize: $100
Third prize: $50
Honorable mention prizes of $20 will be awarded at the discretion of desdmona.com and the judges.
Winners will be picked by a panel of three judges and will be based on quality of writing, erotic appeal, originality, and imaginative use of the contest theme. The winning stories and honorable mentions will be displayed on desdmona.com on August 15, 2004.
